Big baby alert! Today, Baby A was estimated at 5lbs 8oz and Baby B was estimated at 4lbs 14oz… that is almost 10 1/2 pounds of baby! Baby A’s head moves between pelvis and left hip while Baby B’s head is still under my right rib cage with her body swished over the top. Baby A is capable of further squishing Baby B into the rib cage as evidenced by a narrowing of Baby B’s head and pain on my part. We couldn’t get a good picture of Baby A’s face because she had her arm draped over her face and it also looked like she had a (very large) foot up there too. Baby B’s face was obstructed because she was sucking on her umbilical cord. Andy and I were laughing as it seemed that Baby A is a mini Andy and Baby B is a mini Erin. The elective c-section is scheduled for June 4th, but the doctor and staff do not think that the girls will hold out that long.
Hi there! We are getting very cramped because we are now estimated to weigh 3lbs 15oz (A) and 3lbs 7oz (B). At this stage, this marks the 91st and 83rd percentiles – wow, we are huge twins! Baby A was head down with her feet up along my right side and Baby B has her head under my right rib cage with her body and feet going across and down my left side.
